My Dental Implant Journey 2 Years Later
I got All-On-4 dental implants about two years ago and a lot of people had questions about these non-removeable implants. I'm finally here with an update on how things have been. I'll be answering some of the of the most common questions I've had on my previous dental implants videos.

I Painted This Thrift Store Cabinet Black

I found this wooden filing cabinet at a thrift store and had an idea to stain the top and paint the base black. Things didn't turn out as planned as you'll see in the video, but in the end, this furniture makeover turned out great! Painted Vintage Desk Epoxy Pour Makeover
Переглядів 15 тис.7 місяців тому
I found this desk for $20 and decided to try my first epoxy pour on painted furniture. This was my first time trying to pour countertop epoxy on a painted furniture project, or any project for that matter. I am still learning how to pour epoxy countertops and even though things didnt turn out as planned, my epoxy pour results were pretty amazing.

Vintage Provincial Dresser Makeover - Whitewashed and Painted

A local viewer of mine gave me this provincial dresser for free so I could refinish it. She just wanted to see what type of furniture makeover I would do. I decided to do something different by painting with Fusion Mineral Paint and doing a white wash on the top and the drawers. I hope you enjoy this furniture project.

My dental insurance doesnt have travel, cars picking me up, hotel rooms. My dental insurance barely pays half of the final bill and thats after I put down $500 cash before they even make the appointment. Anyway, thanks for reminding me of what I could have had had i made more money in my life. Now my teeth and my pride hurt.

I want to thank you for your candid expierence. I do understand when you say i dont care about the pain, i just want it done. I had a stroke, i felt that way about my avm repair, just wanted it done and over with. As for why in watching dental vidios, well ive had really bad teeth for over 40 years. Ive had all of it done lil by lil, root cannels, temps, crowns, broken teeth, teeth breaking while waiting to put a crown on. I have had all my upper teeth removed except 3 and 9 left on bittom. Ive had a nasty ugly smile for 40 years and the only good thing about that is i have hardly any smile wrinkles, which i now realise is just sad. Ive had a tooth infection several years back and they pulled it while still infected and it was so painful i actually screamed. I was crying and the dental nurse had the gall to ask me why. I was so outraged and angry you have no ideal. So yes im going over vidios, looking. I been in a nursing home for 5 months before i got tossed out. Thank God i did. And i do have ptsd from that. Excuse my venting. Just really wanted to say thank you, you had a nice smile to start with, your new teeth look narltural. And what you did was amazing. Congratulations. My only concern would be if you couldnt get them examed in 6 months, would they be ok? Like i worry about that cause of the nursing home and my avm, not to mention other surgerys i might have to have, so i am a bit scared and concerned. Thank you again!!!

WOW.. it looks fabulous! The complex wood grain was hiding the architectural detail of the piece, whereas the uniformity of the solid black makes it the feature. Good call owner. Personally I'd take the room all the way to dark academia but that might start the redecorating dominos falling. There goes the budget! Either way... it looks great.

Good for you , cheaper in US than here in UK, I decided to go to turkey but used the best Straumann BLX , unlike you I have 12 implants and am allowing them 3 months to heal but using dentures , which are horrible but butter than gums. Back to turkey in 7 more weeks for the same process as you…. Your video explain the whole process which helped me understand what happens after implants fitted, thanks for the info was great to see.

I had two done 25 years ago. Both were to replace two molars I broke (from weakening while nursing my son) while eating cereal. They've been great until last week when one unscrewed from within the main screw... WHILE EATING CEREAL. What's with me and cereal? Nothing ever happened with steak, candy, or bagels. Cereal? Either way, I highly recommend implants over things like bridges. It prevents bone loss in your jaw.

I went through this a few days ago. Not for implants, just traditional dentures (as a 35 yr old male.) My experience was very similar with a few minor differences. The relaxant they had me take was essentially Valium, but I was also so sleep deprived from working through the night beforehand that it didn't seem to make much of a difference. I was already delirious before taking it. LOL! But I fell asleep during the procedure because of this three times and the dentist even said I was snoring in the middle of them pulling the teeth. As for the aftermath, I remember being wheeled out to the car. However, the trip home feels more like a dream and there's only pieces that I can remember. I fell asleep on my bed, but my wife said I woke up after an hour crying in pain. I had to take more meds and passed out again once they kicked in. But again I don't really remember it. I'm on day three with this denture arch in my mouth (upper only.) I still have pain, but it's mostly just at the sites where they injected the anesthetic into the gums and my upper mouth. Unfortunately, the ones on the gums are right where the edge of the denture rubs against. Also, my right cheek is super swollen. Eating still isn't easy and talking is still somewhat difficult. Either way, it's very intriguing to see how others handled this journey. I have no regrets and this is probably the best thing I've done for myself aside from corrective eye surgery, but that's another story...

    • @ThatShabbyGuy

While healing? Anything that I had to chew too hard on. If you cant cut it with the pressure of a fork, you dont eat it. Now? Nah. I can eat anything lol. I almost ate corn on the cob in the video but I didn't have space for it. In fact, I recommend chewing gum after about 30 days to get a good idea of where your bite is. All the chewing is great practice for eating and talking.
